Here are a few ways you can contribute to the private, nonprofit Treehouse Museum.
DONATE +
Treehouse Museum is a private, non-profit, 501-c-3 organization funded by admissions, memberships, program fees, donations and grants. Relying on donations and grants for more than 50 percent of its operating budget, the Museum is in need of community support to keep its award-winning exhibits and programs going and growing.
Donations of any amount in support of new or ongoing exhibits and programs, or for general operations, are always welcome and greatly appreciated.
TREEHOUSE GALA +
Treehouse holds an annual Storybook Gala each September to raise vital funds for Treehouse's educational program. A fabulous silent auction, great prizes, a gourmet dinner, and fun entertainment make the Treehouse Gala a favorite event of businesses, foundations, and family groups in Northern Utah. More than 130 businesses and individuals donate in kind items for the auctions and drawings, and generous sponsors underwrite the cost of the dinner each year. The 2027 Gala will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2027 at Treehouse from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

You can also become a Treehouse partner and put your name on an exhibit or program. Every year for more than 3 decades businesses and foundations have stepped up to help us create unique, new exhibits and support for our family and school programs. Other companies and schools have partnered to sponsor a day or evening at Treehouse for their staff or patrons, or a free day for the whole community.

VOLUNTEER AT TREEHOUSE +
Treehouse Museum loves enthusiastic volunteers who can assist with programs and special events and help in the exhibits. Treehouse can provide volunteers with real-world, confidence-building experiences that teach valuable job skills.
At Treehouse, we have several categories of volunteers.
Friends Volunteers
(Adults and Teens at Treehouse)
Adult volunteers who can commit to a regular schedule of volunteering can really make a difference to Treehouse’s school and public programs. Scheduled training sessions are required. Tasks include exhibit supply preparation and special projects for the first 20 hours of service and then helping with tours and theater programs.
Teens between the ages of 15 and 19 are also welcome as volunteers and after training help with special events and programs on a schedule that works around school and other obligations.

Treehouse Special Participating Youth (SPYs)
Treehouse's Special Participating Youth program is for young volunteers between the ages of 11 to 15 to serve approximately 50 hours from June to August (with additional school-year event opportunities). All SPYs attend trainings, assist on the museum floor with children and families, help with creative projects and activities with Treehouse Staff, participate in STEAM Wednesdays and Saturdays, and even serve on important RAMP Days. As another special bonus, SPYs can attend one or both (schedule permitting) special week-long summer workshops for free.

WORK AT TREEHOUSE +
We welcome applications for employment. Most of our positions are part-time and we structure your schedule around your school commitments where possible. To work at Treehouse you must be 16 years or older. If your application is complete and matches our needs currently, we’ll be in touch to set up an interview.
